hotel baron is one of the best hotels within eldoret town..i fell in love with the rooms, very clean and quiet.the rates are also pocket friendly.i would recommend it to anyone visiting the town for business errands.i once recommended some friends from mombasa and they really loved it
I have stayed at Baron Hotel since 2015 when it was really new. Baron has several room offers. I have always stayed in the standard sized ones. A walking distance to almost all places in Eldoret town. All you need for a Business trip is available at the hotel. The meals are fresh and well-prepped. The rooms are sizable and affordable. Staff were good and helpful, more skills on client-relations will push their service levels higher. The location provides a challenge of noise, especially on weekend nights. I experienced a drop in overall quality and some effort needs to be put to maintain quality levels I observed in 2015 for example, the internet service was a deal-breaker.
This being my third stay, the pros are that it is convenient for those who have errands at the city centre, it is relatively cheap, the rooms are spacious and clean, option of a heated bed, hot water though only in the mornings . The cons are that it has limited parking space, mornings are noisy since it is located within the city centre, there is no value for money when it comes to the buffet, no variety and what’s available is not enough. The waiters can be a bit more friendly and responsive. All in all despite the cons, it’s a good place for budget traveling.
The hotel is located in the heart of Eldoret Town.Damn!! I will go back here again, definitely!! The clean and quite room is what attracted me. Breakfast and dinner was awesome. Cannot complain. Bar and restaurant is lit.
One is likely to overlook this hotel given its location next to Eldoret's bustling and noisy main bus terminus. The hotel's exterior is also very understated. However, when you take a lift to the first floor, you enter a modern, stylish hotel. My room was clean, bright, cheery and tastefully furnished... The bed linens were crisp clean and the bathroom was delightful: nice tiling, rain shower head and several white towels provided for guests. The icing on the cake was the electric bed warmer. Totally unexpected, but a very nice touch. The buffet breakfast served in the restaurant was very tasty. The front desk staff was professional and friendly. Only complaints: was woken up early by the noisy public transport vehicles at the bus terminus, waiters in the restaurant could also be a bit more friendly. A lot of work and care has clearly been put into this establishment. This hotel is a hidden gem. It is very good value for money. I would recommend it to anyone.…
