the package proposed was for the weekend, but no one told us about the same package during the week day. Usen was closed, the room was very old furnished, the staff not helpfull. so a recommendation do not take package, book only transportation and room, the rest you can paid insitu. go on the weekend.
We had a 2 night stay and it was a very bad experience. The food is way overpriced for what it is. The staff is amateurish with very misleading information. The complimentary breakfast was told to be from 7-11am. But when we came at 10, we got told that the "main" buffet was until 9h30 only, after that we had to dine in a cafe place. Then we were offered a package at 390k of some Onsen and Spa services. The package is available from 4pm - 9pm. We came at 5:40pm and got informed that the outdoor services are closed at 6pm. The info was never given to us before. We offered to pay individual service but they refused and said they only offer packages. Seriously, if you charge us a double room at a 150$ - 250/night, and some basic dishes at around 10$ each, you need to keep up with your service quality. Definitely not coming back and not recommending to anyone ever!…
This is a bran new resort, only open a few months. Because of Covid & low travel rates, only one restaurant open during our stay of 4 days. This was the biggest con: limited choice of food & most of the foods on the menu are strange. If you get a lunch or dinner buffet option, take it! This has normal food selections like fresh spring rolls & Sushi rolls. Drinks are very good. Prices for food & drink are mostly very reasonable. There is one small cafe with drinks & cheesecake right when you walk into main building to buy passes for the spas. This cafe has EXCELLENT Milk teas & mango smoothies & excellent prices! Around the world spa: a series of different hot mineral tubs to represent how various places in the world do mineral baths. It was pleasant to try each country & there was also one for tea, herbal tea & coffee soaking baths. To be honest, all the baths felt exactly the same. But it was still a nice way to kill a few hours. Japanese Onsen: This is a series of baths plus a wet & dry sauna. You MUST go naked in here (it is a rule). Big pool & Spring pool: The spring pool cones free when staying at the hotel and to be honest I liked the small intimate springs pool that was more quite & private better then the big pool that you must pay for. Same hot mineral water in both. Big round sofa bed chairs around big & spring pools. Very comfy and I started to fall asleep any time I read my book there. Hot & cold thermal saunas upstairs: waste of time. It took so long to even start sweating in that big sauna. They didn’t leave it running when people were not there & they only turn it on when you arrive. So it wastes a lot of your time sitting in there waiting for it to heat up. Room: We had deluxe room with balcony in the Spring section. Our room was nice & comfortable. Electric outlets right where you need them! Nice reading lamps beside the bed that you only touch to turn on & off. Shower was nice. Laundry: I only do laundry at a resort if the price is reasonable. It rarely is at most places, but very good prices here, so I did laundry. (Ex: 10K VND for underwear & socks). They arrived within 10 minutes of me calling to ask & picked up our dirty clothes (even though it was 10pm)! It arrived back clean in our room the next day. No issues. Spa: We did two couples massages and used the dry sauna ahead the first day. Highly recommend this! I was able to tolerate much more pressure then normal when my muscles were heated & relaxed before the massage. Second treatment day we did massage with herbal scrub & wet sauna. It felt like icy hot on the skin. I liked it, my husband didn’t. Very messy & you must take full shower after. Thein is a lovely happy smiling lady always at the front counter in the spa. She helped with English translation and instructions. She made us understand and feel comfortable when we were confused without her. She is a great asset to the spa!! Ginger tea is served before & after treatments. Spa always smelled so good. Beds were the most comfortable! I usually get stuffy laying face down. However, hole for the face was the perfect size and soft. I got no pressure points and didn’t end up stuffy at all. Outdoor non-water activities: you can hard boil eggs at 82 degrees (with a basket into thermal hot springs). There is a forest walking trail with a small zoo area & crocodile zoo where you can feed the crocs for 30K VND. This was fun. No souvenir shop :(. The resort was decorated with lovely wooden Christmas trees. Size tiny to extra huge all over the resort. I really wanted to purchase a small one to take home and remember this resort by, but none were for sale. If you need chapstick, sun glasses, hat, flip flops or any other item, too bad! No place to buy anything at all & nothing is near by outside this resort. They badly need a souvenir shop here. Only one thing made me mad during my stay: My husband & I were trying to decide when purchasing our around the world spa & Japanese Onsen package if we should do the regular or after 4pm package. Price was better to do after 4pm. We finally decided to pay extra to do the full day one. I asked several times if I could do some in the morning & some after dinner. I was repeatedly told it was open until 9pm. Nowhere was it listed if it was a one time or one day pass & nobody understood English to confirm. But being that the price was more for full day and we kept being told 9pm, we took it to mean full day for sure. I didn’t expect to like the Japanese Onsen and you can’t take your phone in because people are naked, so I told my husband I would only use the dry sauna and I would meet him after in 20-30 minutes. Once inside the staff was following me around insisting I get naked and watching until I had obeyed. Then I was marched naked outdoors to a tub and commanded to get in. She was not leaving until I did. Since I was not doing the tubs, I just spent 2-3 minutes in each and only 10 minutes in the sauna. I enjoyed the Onsen much more then I expected (only after the staff finally left me the hell alone to relax without being watched)! I was really looking forward to returning after dinner and spending the proper time enjoying all the pools & sauna for a good length of time. However once we were showered at 3:00 and leaving, the lady then decided to inform us our visit was now over & we could not return again! I said I did want to do the Onsen after dinner & nowhere in the package details did it say I could not, nor did she explain I could not until after I showered & dressed to leave for dinner. She just kept arguing NO. In no way was this in writing or explained & it was a mistake to handle it this way. Eventually I quite being mad enough hours later. But I was quite unhappy that I never got to utilize that relaxing Onsen to its potential despite having purchased a full day package (so I thought). So...there is NO reason in this resort to pay full price! Only go after 4pm! Start in the around the world spa while you have day light. The thermal spas & Japanese Onsen are both indoors upstairs and can just as nicely be done after dark). Plus more privacy on the outdoor balcony part of the Onsen where it is blocked by view by plants. Overall: Nice large resort. Play places for children. Good for all ages. A bit of room for improvement but they will probably work out these things as they are open longer & get more feed back. I would recommend this resort. The pools were very clean & I watched them clean & fill them one morning when I awake and took an early walk (even the very big pool). That was reassuring that maintenance & hygiene were attended to. …
